Who is the Wilderness First Responder AWARENSS Course For?
Wilderness First Responder is accepted as the international standard for outdoor professionals and is a minimum requirement by many companies, If you want to up your game when it comes to dealing with austere emergencies or are an avid adventure seeker planning an intense expedition or trip than, this course is for you.
The Wilderness First responder Course WFR focuses on, Response and Assessment, Musculoskeletal Injuries, Environmental Emergencies and Survival Skills, Soft Tissue Injuries, and Medical Emergencies.
Although the WFR appears to cover the same basic topics covered in Basic Wilderness First Aid & Advanced Wilderness First Aid courses, the topics are covered far more extensively.
The AWARENESS level course has all the content of the regular WFR - Wilderness First Responder Course, HOWEVER it does not include a practical portion, and is delivered strictly online.
As their is no practical hands on training in the Awareness level course students will be provided a wall certificate of AWARENESS at the end of the course, rather then a standard Wilderness First Responder Certification Card.
This cost saving course is of great benefit of learning in-depth concepts in the WFR - Wilderness First Responder Course for their own personnel knowledge and ability to help themselves.
